Why Good Customer Service Is Important To Any Business
admin | June 21, 2010 | 6:18 am | Office Cleaning | No comments

You may think your business is doing really well, you may have your PLR all set up, your research and development team might be coming up with amazing ideas but what about your front line? Your customer service teams and those related to them need to be top notch if you want to have an amazing business as opposed to one that’s doing ‘well’.

Take a step back and really think about your customer service. It doesn’t matter where your customer contact centres are based or if you have the best plug and play profit system in place, your front line team represent your company and need to be showing it off to its full potential. Even if your call centre is located thousands of miles away it doesn’t mean you can forget about it, give it just as much attention as any other part of your business.

As communications get easier more customers will contact companies and some, if not most of them will base their first impression of the company on the person they speak to or get contact from so its vital to get it right. You have to take many things into consideration to get this right for you and your company.

Firstly put yourself out there, don’t just have a general contact telephone number visible and leave it at that. Put all your points of contact on correspondence or advertising, your fax, email, website, everything. Some people dislike contact over the phone so boost your income online and have an accessible website!

You need to make sure that even on a website that your contact information is easily seen so that the customer can contact you to ensure that a potential sale isn’t going to be lost. More and more companies now have a live support point of contact where they can actually approach the customer as they browse, much like a ship assistant in real life.

Make sure as well that your staff are trained equally and are working from the same procedure, training large groups at the same time can help with this and keep that training simple and easy to follow and implement so there is no confusion.

Keep this up and you’ll see your sales and indeed your reputation soar, even though there might be someone else out there with bigger profits now, your excellent customer skills will see you reaching higher and catching them up in no time.

Why Every New Business Needs A Toll Free Number
admin | May 22, 2010 | 6:09 am | Office Cleaning | No comments

Most types of businesses would benefit from a having a toll free telephone number, but for some in particular having one is an absolute must. For example, companies who mainly make sales through the internet or through catalog mailings, and companies who sell products or services that require follow-up assistance. A toll free number is also perfect for hiding the fact that your business is not located in an ‘undesirable’ area. Some people, for one reason or another, prefer not to make purchases from companies in certain areas, or even from ones that are outside of their state. By having a toll free number, there is no way for anyone tell where you are located. The portability of toll free numbers is another of their major benefits. It can quite literally be a number for life, that you can keep regardless of how many times your office moves, even if you move to the other side of the country. So long as you keep paying the annual subscription fee, no-one can take that number from you. This is a big benefit because every time that you change your phone number you will, inevitably, lose some customers, who have written down or saved your old number and will assume that if that number no longer works then you must have gone out of business. You can find a company who specializes in selling toll free numbers by searching Google for the start of the number of the number that you want. If you are not sure what you want the first few digits of the number to be then you can just type ‘toll free numbers’ into Google and browse the numbers listed on the websites that are brought up. Using a specialist company is recommended because although your current phone company may well offer toll free numbers, they tend to charge higher rates. The reason being that they normally contact a specialist company on your behalf and then apply a mark-up to the price that they are quoted.

How To Spot A Good Decorative Mirror Supplier
admin | July 6, 2009 | 5:33 am | Office Cleaning | No comments

Out of all floor length mirrors articles I have written, my focus has never been on the suppliers. So in this post I have decided to focus all my attention specifically at them. Below are 3 key tips on how to find the best supplier or seller to buy from.

One of the most important ways to spot the best seller is through the number of testimonials they have. This shows confidence in the brand and that people are willing to openly endorse it. This means a number of people are openly encouraging you to buy from the supplier because they had a good experience with them. This means that if you are out and about in search of decorative wall mirrorson the net then you should find websites that have lots of testimonials.

You can also spot a good decorative mirrors supplier by looking at how flexible they are with their contact information. A good seller shouldn’t be afraid of encouraging you to contact them directly for more information. Some of the contact details to look out for include an email address, a telephone number, skype, messenger or any kind of an online chat facility. One with a toll free number is even better.

Also, take note on how long it takes for them to get back to you on a query. Before you buy anything online, make it a habit to ask the seller a quick question. Note the time taken to respond and the manner in which they respond. Comparing the time with a few others should give you a pretty good idea who the best supplier.

At the end of it all, the choice lies with you. Try to follow your heart.
Whether you choose to buy  chrome bathroom mirrors or any type that suites you you should be cautious otherwise you might fall prey to all the unscrupulous sales reps who are taking advantage of inexperienced buyers.

Who Records Telephone Calls
admin | June 3, 2009 | 1:33 pm | Office Cleaning | No comments

Phone recorder selection should be based on the application, the reasons why you want to record phone calls.

There are many reasons to record calls, other than spying on someone. These include

  • verification of a sales transaction
  • financial transactions
  • health or medical information given to patient
  • legal issues
  • insurance claims
  • interviews
  • improve call handling
  • improve customers service skills.

Basically any type of conversation that you feel is necessary or required by law, to avoid any misunderstandings at a later date

In the most simplistic form a single line recorder uses an adapter/device to connect to a telephone line and to the USB port on a computer. Once you record the call it is automatically saved to the computer. Because the calls are saved on a computer, you have the ability to share these calls through email .wav or mp3 file format. You can record from portable telephones as long as the recorder is connected to the base unit.

Depending on the product you purchase, the recorder can be configured to record calls by voice activation, or manually select the calls you want to record. If you are using this in your home, and have only one telephone line, you may want to manually select the recording of calls.

Telephone recorders are available in all sizes, from recording a single line to recording hundreds of lines simultaneously. Ports, channels and telephone lines all mean the same thing. Be sure to check the regulations for your State. Each State has certain requirements for legally recording calls as to how parties to the call are notified the call is being recorded.

Now what about recording cell phones?

Because there is no physical connection to the cell phone, a third party service will handle these recordings. You dial the telephone number provided by the service prior to making the call and then dial the number to be recorded.

If you require cell calls to be recorded on the fly, there is another type of service available that will give you a telephone number to use to record all incoming and outgoing calls. You will be charged by the minute when using a service to manage cell phone recordings.

Recording telephone calls is not that difficult. You can find good single line telephone recorders for under $150. Evaluate the specifications and features to ensure you are purchasing the best recorder to meet your needs. For larger office type recording applications, you will want to ensure the telephone recorder is compatible with your telephone system.
